Enjoy the sun responsibly

  • Stay out of the sun during the hours of 11am and 3pm when the intensity of the sun’s rays are greatest.

  • Use sun protection. Even if you wear clothes or stay in the shade, you'll still be exposed to some of the sun's UV rays, or at least your face and hands will be exposed. Snow, sand and water reflect and therefore increase the amount of rays that you are exposed to

  • Pay attention not to exceed sun exposure for longer than your skin type allows, taking into account the strength of the sun and the geographical conditions.

  • Babies and young children should not be exposed to direct sunlight.

  • Do not apply to broken or sun-scorched skin. If you have already been burnt, make sure you stay out of the sun.

  • Apply sun protection generously and evenly. The general recommendation for sun protection products is to apply 30-40ml per application. In practice this means an adult must apply a generous handful for the whole body.
